Created from a highly advance Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) technology that produces a flexible pure form of amorphous carbon, consisting of sp3 bonded carbon atoms. Having the surface characteristic of both lipophilic and hydrophobic makes it non wettable with water but easily wet with oil; a characteristic found in few bolt carrier group coatings. This technology produces excellent tribological properties that make it very suitable in environments with extreme contact pressure and sliding actions.
